unfun 75 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I had this for sale a few months ago locally, but then I pulled it. It is now 100% for sale here on the HFC and I will ship it, too. 1997 Schecter PT tele, USA-made. Trans-red. Appears to be one-piece maple neck with some nice flame/figuring. Chrome pickup rings and bridge. Metal knobs. Satin Sperzel locking tuners. StrapLok buttons, but don’t have strap assemblies. Non-OHSC, but it’s a pretty decent case. No major marks or dings, just normal play wear for a 10yo guitar. Some rash on the back. I think the best part of this guitar is the neck, fast and smooth. Tom Anderson/Schecter designed humbuckers with coil-tap push/pull on the tone knob. Strung with 10’s. Price is $600 shipped in the lower 48 via UPS ground. PayPal accepted, no extra for fees. Not looking for any trades except maybe a 30” scale bass. Four pictures are attached for your viewing pleasure! That is a reflection of the stand on the lower bottom right of the guitar, not a mark. Feel free to PM me or email me with questions. Thanks for looking.SOLD!
black magic Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 What scale length? Nut Width? Fret Size? I like the mahogany!! Thanks-Jack.
Jeff R Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 That's pretty much a Tom Anderson without spending over a K on the used market. I'm surprised no one's hit it.
cloakerz Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I want it. email sent. Sold my jackson and that is the cure.
unfun 75 Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Sold. Thanks for the responses guys. Gotta love the HFC.
elduave Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 That's a beaut, congrats to both of you. Another cool Schecter at a great price below. Used to be mine, the seller bought it from me a few months ago:Schecter 72 Tele Seem-Like-A
Rockola Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Bugger it. She passed the 'sleep on it' test.... I see i;m not the only one who recognized a cool bargin.enjoy!
cloakerz Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I just knew I would hate myself for not jumping on it. SHOULD be ok with the wife as I sold one, THEN bought one. but there is still "dog-house" potential........
cloakerz Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Well......finally got it. brought it home and did a setup(strings, action, etc) and this thing just rocks! Has so much sustain I opened up the back to look for a battery. No kidding. The neck feels most like a musicman axis to me but with bigger frets. The pickups are incredible to say the least. I think I played it for about 3 hours and couldn't put it down. I had NO IDEA schecter made a guitar like that! I knew it would be good, but am really blown away by this thing.
