BadJaxx Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 for those that don't know...Dean had guitars made in the Czech Republic while they built a new USA factory....they are hand-crafted, no longer made, and quite often stated as good as USA...i have a Czech EVO Premium that i love...awesome guitar...think modern take on an LP Custom...i had another at one time...this Caddy is an Ultima, i believe, which was the top end Czech Dean...original street price about $1300...i almost bought this one before Murkat...but Gold Sparkle isn't me...

Same as the premium, but with abalone dots instead on MOP blocks.Ebony boards, bound body and necks, Schaller tuners. Awsome quality indeed. I have 1 in trans amber and 1 in trans red. I am actually pondering selling 1 as I really don`t nead 2!! Great LP alternative for sure That caddy is sweet and was pondering one of those as well. Jack.

murkat Posted March 24, 2007 Author Posted March 24, 2007 What's the weight? Its lite. SG lite, but not neck heavy. 2/3rds mahogany,1/3rd maple top. Neck is like a 61 reissue SG. FAST and slippery with the big frets and ebong board. ask away
