cmatthes Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 That one is incredible looking. It's going to have a close relative soon, hopefully!
srvwannab Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 How does the Hamer faithful feel about the price?

zorrow Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 It is a GREAT axe! But for some reason, lately I'm getting more excited about the "fatter" Vectors of the early 80's -- even with their non-pointy headstocks. In fact, once Pirateflynn sold his and shipped it to Europe I can't stop dreaming about her!
Guest pirateflynn Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 In fact, once Pirateflynn sold his and shipped it to Europe I can't stop dreaming about her! Only for a HFC brother. I hope to get some chocolate out of the deal ....... or maybe some beer!

I wouldn't say I am ready to buy another one right away (wifey thinks I am a compulsive Hamer buyer, and in addition I still have to drive down to Vermont to pick the one Peter sold me several weeks ago), but a plain and simple early 80's Vector will be my next Hamer purchase for sure -- and yours was sweet, man!
serial Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 The white one is priced a good bit higher than I paid out the door w/tax etc from BCRGreg for my surf green one, but that was in '03-prices have gone up since then!
