Yes, it's a 4-digit Standard. No, it is not Rick Nielsen. It is our own Sentinel (Curt) Who was nice enough to come by to show me his new Studio Custom, What a great guitar!!! Old #0148 got to tag along as well.

Curt is a great guy with an impeccable taste in guitars

A great example of Hamer's old and new. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your hospitality, Tokyo Tapes (Uffe)!

And I'll tell you all - Uffe is one of the friendliest persons I've ever met!

Yes, it's me - ol' Sentinel - in the white shirt. Trying a four digit for the first time. I'm impressed and now I know what the fuzz is about!. A timeless feel. Rings like a bell too!

Btw, I guess TokyoT might be going through his finances right now, trying to get a custom shop Studio of his own! :-)

Two with fantastic looks ! (and I mean the guitars)

You can start to organise a 2008 Euro Hfc meeting in Sweden...

You fooled me there for a few seconds. Thought it was the real Old Rick, lol. Looks like you guys had a great time! Those guitars are all killer looking

Yes, we should really get together and look into that. I'll talk to the guys about it. Perhaps April, May 2008, what do ya think?

Thanks, yep, the guitars are perfect, like...! You should've been there too!

Sounds great!

Those two guitars could not be farther apart in Hamer's history, but they look like they belong together.

By the way, the brown roof in the background looks sort of like it compliments the lines of the Standard.

Glad to see Curt is alright! Have fun!

Yes, it's important to get out and see people and I'm getting a little bit better every day.

And with such fine guitars, well, I can't stop smiling (as I said before).

YEAH MAN!!! Euro HFC is starting to shapeup real nice. I'll be floored if the chick from Berlin I met in '89 in London, that owned an '86 Blitz, ever shows up to the party. Ilana would be cool to meet again 20 years later perhaps.

Yes, a custom ordered Studio Custom would be nice. Another 4-digit would also be nice... as well as a B/C Sunburst... hm... The want list is growing, the bank account is shrinking. Bad combination

That would be cool 'cause I might be able to join in, too!

We really have to consider this :)

sweet!!! man, those are kickass.

ps- i get tired of klaus meine's vocals, but ulrich roths playing on "the tokyo tapes" is amazing, and it set the blueprint for the 80's neoclassical shred movement almost ten years before yngwie showed up on the scene.

absolutely gorgeous Studio!

i knew that'd help...

If it's in April, I'll have to skip because I'll do everything to go to the N.O. jam.

Uli Roth is one of the greatest. He should have the same recognition as Blackmore. Where would Yngwie be without Roth?

The opening riff of Polar Nights is one of the best Marshall tones ever recorded.
