e-isle rock Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-archtop-studio-E...1QQcmdZViewItemHope so. Cuz I bought it. Hopefully this will quench my GAS for a set neck mahogany guitar. Can't wait to get it!
DavidE Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Yup. Good deal. I don't know that I've seen a blue one before. That version has a belly cut on the back and the wrap tail makes it snappier sounding than the usual bridge/tailpiece. Very great geetars and nice price.
e-isle rock Posted October 10, 2007 Author Posted October 10, 2007 Thanks for the replies! I've wanted a Studio for a long time. As well as several other Hamers. This will fit nicely with the rest of them. Can't wait to play it! I've only ever owned bolt ons. And never a mahogany guitar. So this will be a welcome change.

Probably not if you've only had bolt-ons. It's a different feel and sound but I bet you'll like it. I like switching back and forth, but lately have preferred the shorter scales (such as the Tritonic instead of the pentatonic!). Good score!
atquinn Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Thank god somebody bought that; my trigger finger was getting itchy! -Austin

Lew Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Awesome! Congratz That Natural looks sexy too I have played bolt-on 25.5"pretty much exclusiveley for 13 years...own some Suhr etc,but it's only since I have been playing shorter scale guitars I have been getting close to the feel and sound in my head, aint it funny how guitarists rarely step outside there safety zone
e-isle rock Posted October 10, 2007 Author Posted October 10, 2007 My trigger finger never had a chance to get itchy! I saw the price, made sure nothing was seriously wrong with it and that the little USA script was there with the Hamer logo. Done! The wait is already killing me. This is worse than the last amp I bought.
Steve Haynie Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 The BIN price on that one was such a good deal that you will not lose money on that guitar if you decide you do not like it.

I almost felt bad for the seller. In most cases, if someone hits the "Buy It Now" button and your auction lasts 45 seconds, it means you probably priced it too low.Yea, I don't think getting back what you have into it will be a problem.
Guest Meshuggah Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Very glad I did not see that. Thank you.
