Bass Guy Dave Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Score! Checking, dings or not, I'll bet you'll like it. I love my two! Best Wishes
RoyB Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 He said he's a member here but does not frequent very much... I just died laughing at the $350. BIN. Yep I'm a member here and this is my first post, but I sure don't see what's so funny about the BIN? The last two I saw on there were $495 and $549, so I thought $350 was a good buy it now for a bass that had been around the block, but still played great. Guess I was wrong. He said he's a member here but does not frequent very much... I just died laughing at the $350. BIN. How do you feel about two-fiddy? You got a great deal on this bass. Well at lest you got it cheaper than I did.
Thundernotes Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi Roy!$350 is an old running gag around here - not any commentary on your price. Thanks for stopping in!
cmatthes Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Exactly - I think that was a smokin' price. $350 would have been a good deal too for a 1st generation Cruise. Those are fun basses, for sure. The "gag" was that at one time (about 8-10 yrs ago on this board), you could get a wide variety of s/h Hamers for the princely sum of $350.Those days are, for the most part, long gone!Welcome aboard. Good to have ya here.
