FS: Hamer T-51 ***SOLD***

I have one that I'm thinking of letting go because I have my eye on a couple of things.

It's natural with a rosewood fretboard. One very interesting detail is that the neck is from a Daytona but it came like that from the factory. Has a bunch of dings on the body but none go down to the wood. Neck is a very nice medium. Weight is DavidE-approved...7.5 lbs on my digital bathroom scale. Comes with OHSC. $750 USD shipped to your door (Canada & USA). I'll eat the paypal fees. International friends, drop me a pm or e-mail and we can figure out shipping costs.

Thanks!

Nick

Beautiful guitar! I'd be all over it if I didn't have a T51 on the way. What's the deal with the Daytona neck though? I always thought Daytonas and T51's had the same necks?

Nice - seems like one of the lightweight ones too!

Here's a T-51 headstock, Austin:

Interesting! If the difference is the presence/absence of a string tree and tinting, then my incoming T51 has a Daytona neck too.

I'm thinking the string tree in the photo of the T-51 headstock is an add-on or factory special order. I always thought the difference was in the radius of the curves on the high E side of the headstock. FWIW, my T-51 does not have the tree, although it is more golden than white as the pictures show.

The design profile of the 2 headstocks are different.

O.k. I see what you're talking about now. I though the profile might be different, but I couldn't tell if it was maybe just he angle the pics were taken at. Anyway, beautiful T51!

That's cool looking. How do the Hamer Tele's compare to say Fender (USA, MIJ, etc...) or G&L? Is the radius still 14 1/2"? Jumbo, medium jumbo, vintage frets? It not set neck, right?

I'm guessing that body is ash, cuz I have a natural alder and I don't think my woodgrain is as nice as that one!

Yes sir, body is ash.

Radius, I think, is 14". Frets are medium. Bolt on.

If it is still available in about a month consider it gone! I'm selling my house and moving and I'm sure I can put the cash aside. Just a heads up but I'm sure this baby will go well before that!

Nice T-51 with good weight. Are the electronics and pups all Orig? oop sorry I didn't see my other post.

Everything is original.

This one is for Jimmy boy...up, up and away!!!!!!!!!!

For clarity, the neck was not swapped from a T-51 to a Daytona. It came from the Hamer factory equipped with the Daytona neck. Personally, I find it much cooler than the T-51 headstock. That's my 2.5 cents worth!
