unfun 75 Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Checked their site today and they have a couple of Tally Pros and four Tally Earthen Maples in stock. Both models look awesome!link to Talladega page
veatch Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 OH Christ, WHY DID I LOOK!!!!!!Wow. A wraptail... Sa-weet!
atquinn Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 OH Christ, WHY DID I LOOK!!!!!!Wow. A wraptail... Sa-weet!That's been regular model since winter NAMM. Kind of like a Newport except has the wraparound and a center block (kind of like Pirateflynns uber-Newport). I'm liking the looks of the Tally Pro. I'm surprised Willcutt's didn't order any with the "Willcutt's Package" (ebony fretboard, 1st-fret inlay, ultimate top) though. Or maybe they did and they'll just take longer to come out.-Austin
John E Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Me, I like a nice natural finish, like this 'un at Dave's:
HamerHokie Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 OH Christ, WHY DID I LOOK!!!!!! Has Hamer ever done a Newport with three P-90s?
tbabinec Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 This might have been discussed; if so, I didn't see it. Question: What information is available on the pickups on the Tally Pro? Hamer website describes them as custom-wound humbuckers.
Sam Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Has Hamer ever done a Newport with three P-90s? From time to time....
atquinn Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Has Hamer ever done a Newport with three P-90s? From time to time.... Damn that's fine! -Austin
ceeb Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 The color of those earthen Tallys doesn't knock me out like the finish on the Earthen Studios.
