If Johnny Thunders' plane and mine are on-time we should be able to share a cab over to the Aloft Hotel.I'm hoping I can check in early (They indicate 1500 hrs on my reservation... we'll see.)As far as getting out to 4-3-2-1 and various running around, I'm at someone else's mercy. (share cabs/gas money whatever)

You should be able to catch the train to my place and I can pick you up at the train stop, or it's only about $20 for a cab there.Should be a blast!

BTMN Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Bad News - I talked BlackFBIV into coming by telling him I would arrange a lil 4 song deal with myself , my Friend Tim, and was gonna get Shredmeister or Eric Weston in on it too but had not askked either yet, but, always a BUTT, I'm afraid I'm not gonna make this one after all. Two good reasons in my way, timing is EVERYTHING and the money is needed elsewheres at the moment. Good News - I am going to come up there July 4th weekend to see Judas Priest and Whitesnake at the Taste of Minnesota for certain. So perhaps something Sunday afternoon July 5th or so could happen as I'm sure everyone will be getting some Fireworks on Saturday the 4th.

Been looking for an excuse to attend some kinda Hamerfanclub function for years now. Good news is you won't have to endure my sucky bass playing. I'd rather watch than play anyways . (and that is the plain truth)I'm afraid I'm not gonna make this one after all. That is the sucky part... was looking forward to meeting you. Maybe we'll see ya in FL next spring before we head off to St Thomas...

I am, however, totally psyched about this party after Saturday's prep. I had full intentions of writing down all the songs we played and presenting a set list, but, well, I got distracted by the music. I continue to say that this is the best thing I do for myself. These guys kick @ss, and I cannot imagine a better way to spend time. I can't wait to set up a great sound stage in a fun room and listen to my best friends do their thing. We'll be ready, folks. Hey JT, Johnny Wilson, my bandmate in the Play Prettys is totally psyched about a few Stooges songs. He's played them for years and will front the band when the Stooges set goes down. He's talking Search and Destroy, Loose, and Now I Wanna Be Your Dog. Can't wait to meet the travelin' guys, and Dion, you're gonna want to participate. Guaranteed.
