RoyB Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Hey Guys we just put up our new web site design and want to see what you think of how it navigates and looks. Check it out athttp://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms2/We will still be adding sound clips, videos and more photos, but what you you think of it now?
bubs_42 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I caught it reaching into my pocket to take my money! Must be good.
santellavision Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Nice site! Clean, professional and easy to navigate. Good luck with it!
velorush Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Really nice layout and graphics. I especially like the background colors given the content. The drop downs for the Old Friend Guitars and Aging/Refinishing were giving me some trouble dropping out if I was slow about going to the bottom (if I paused on Contour Guitars, the went further down to any of the other choices the drop down went away). No, wait, it is a [Apple] Safari issue, they work fine in IE. MS shoved some bad code to me about a month ago under the guise of yet another "update;" I've had problems with Safari ever since. That was the only functional problem I had in the whole site in either browser. Everything loads very quickly and the photos are top quality - very well done!
data187 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 site looks good.might want to think about adjusting page titles, using h1/h2 tags, and adding better image alt tags to improve seo.
RoyB Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 Thanks guys. It's still in the works, but it's good to know we are on the right path.
jerseydrew Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 You're definitely on a better path. The old website seemed to take you around in circles.
