HamStd Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Here are a few more goodies I have for sale, not Hamer, but just like ice cream there are alot of good flavors out there and you should give them all a try!!!! Besides, I know we have some pretty serious Robin fans/Collectors and some big time Jackson collectors here too. Jackson Randy Rhoads Custom 1989 USA made in Ontario, CA. Ferrari red finish. . All original, no breaks or repairs. Original frets in excellent condition. Stock original Jackson pickups, great sounding pickups. I would rate this one a 8/10 condition. It does have a few of the classic dings on the end of the headstock and on the long point. And one of the body where your right arm would come across. Serial number stamped at the end of the fingerboard RR 25XX. Comes with original Jackson case (the good tolex one not the pressed plastic one). asking $1650 plus actual shipping costs. Schon Custom guitar This guitar is sort of an oddball. I believe it is a Larivee made guitar, as it has 22 frets as oppose to the 24 found on the Jackson made Schon guitars, but this one does have the stamped “NS” serial number at the end of the fingerboard. IT IS NOT AN ED ROMAN PUT TOGETHER AND PASSED OFF AS A “REAL” SCHON GUITAR. I got this from Chris Hayes (he is the guitarist for Huey Lewis) who got it as a present from Neal Schon himself. S/S/ H original schon pickups (I believe are actually PJ Marx pickups that were branded with the “Schon”). The guitar is in excellent condition I would rate it a 9/10 condition, very clean, no repairs or modifications. Comes with the original hardshell case. asking $1250 plus actual shipping costs. Contact me at Hamstd@gmail.com if you have any questions, or would like to buy something. I would prefer Money order or cashier's check, I am not set up to take paypal. I will ship to our friends outside the US if you are willing to cover the shipping costs. I can provide references if you have any questions, but I hope most people here know me and know my handywork with bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and packing tape. Thanks Peter.
peedenmark7 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 guys, I almost bought that red rhoads a few years ago. a string through in '89 is rare as hens teeth. come to think of it ferrari red isnt so common by this time either.that guitar is super clean, dont be afraid to drop the coin on it.
HamStd Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Thanks John, appreciate the word up. For those that don't know, John is one of the Premier Jackson/Charvel collectors and has an amazing collection of toys. Thanks man.Peter
cmatthes Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Love that Ferrari red finish - my first Hamer was that color, and my next one (coming sometime soon) is also in that finish.Dig it.
edgar_allan_poe Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 A STRING THROUGH FERRARI RED RHOADS??!!!! *gasp*, *faint*, *thud*
HamStd Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Bump for the Jackson Rhoads (you don't need no stink'in Floyd rose or kahler, real men play hardtails....wait a minute that sounds bad) and the Schon guitar both still available!!!! Come on if Randy Jackson (boy he has a big ass in this video) can play in a band with one, it must be a good guitar "Yo Yo dawg". Peter.
serial Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I am so drawn to that RR, would be the perfect one for me because of the hardtail, but the guitar fund is at zero after picking up some PA stuff ! NICE guitar.
