Seriously considering buying a motorcycle, so i'm looking to unload some non essential stuff;

prices shipped cont usa only, paypal add 4% (checks ok from LONGTIME HFC brethren).

Fender Super Champ XD head **SOLD TO JackC, thanx broseph**

Hamer USA Special FM, ***SOLD BIN***

This next one may be premature, but I might unload my custom order Chap (will know for sure soon);

Hamer USA "Bob Wilson" Chap (do a HFC search for history).

Hamer USA Chaparral, original Floyd Rose (upgraded w/ oversized brass block).

This was a custom order (ebony fretboard, 24.75" scale, set neck,

looks like all mahogany construction, single volume knob, "Bob Wilson" on headstock).

Modified electronics; 2 of the 3 mini toggles removed, as I can't work these while onstage

(remaining mini toggle switches between neck and bridge pickups,

w/ middle position muted for that "stuttering Ace Frehley" effect; now is “gig friendly”),

neck pickup replaced w/ GFS Norvin noiseless vintage overwound singlecoil,

middle pickup removed (replaced w/ empty pickup cover),

bridge pickup replaced w/ Duncan Dimebucker,

volume knob modified to affect bridge pickup only (again, “gig friendly”).

Lotsa players wear and scratches (as usual, it looks worse in photos than up close),

the worst being a few scratches by vol knob, & finish cracking by headstock (NOT a break or repair).

Nice SBK hardshell rectangular case.

Plays and sounds awesome, this is an excellent and versatile shred machine

(best "shredder" I've owned, but i need to raise some cash), $550.

With deep appreciation and words of luck, I'll have to pass on the re-ownership of your fine FM Special. There is some magic in that one, to be sure.

A MOTORCYCLE?????????

Brilliant!

Thanks, Broseph!

Damn, I wish the Super Pimp had been for sale the last time I saw you. I would have taken it off your hands right then. After that, I bought a Vox practice amp.

I still might want it though...

Brooks,

What speaker cab/cabs are you running your Axe-FX and the Carvin amp into?

carvin single space amp into a sovtek vertical slant 2x12,

right now loaded w/ one 100w celestion.

i can have 1 axe-fx output going to that,

the other 1st routed to cab & mic sims

then thru the carvin to a (~full range) wedge monitor (or PA/recording).

slick..

The FM is a 93. Neck is similar to 60's taper LP. It had the most comfy neck of any electric I've owned. Once in a fit of meedly meedly madness, I dropped the action low enough for a tortex .73 to hang anywhere on the fretboard and it still didn't buzz. Amazing action and its light weight as well. I traded it to Zoner for a Mesa Maveric during a blues kick when I was pretty much only playing my T-51 and duotone.

That FM is the real deal.

Thanks for the extra info on the FM neck!

Ever play it with both pups on? I can hear it with one or the other. How does it sound with both of them going? Do they "play well" together? :D

sounds great no matter what combo of pups.

edit: FM is SOLD, via B.I.N.
