Case Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 C'mon, now. I'm willing to negotiate a bit, but not that much. $350?
serial Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 That's a longstanding HFC joke. Cool guitar-great price.
cmatthes Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I think that's a VERY reasonable price for that guitar.
G Man Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Hey Case,Your asking price is a great deal. I just traded for one that came out to a bit more than you are asking for yours. These are great guitars and anyone would be happy to jump on this one. I almost bought it myself a while back, but apparently the guitar gods had other plans for this one.Good luck with your sale.
Case Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Thanks guys, had another trade offer, but haven't heard back yet. STILL available! If someone snatches this up today, I'll pick up the shipping and insurance (continental US).Hit me up anytime,Caseycaseygree@aol.comHey Case,Your asking price is a great deal. Carl.B Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 What is the neck profile like? I might have a trade offer...Cool looking git!
Case Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Hey Carl, here's a quote from the Tone Quest review: "Like the other Hamers we’ve reviewed, the fretwork and nut on the Phantom were flawless. The neck shape is very comfortable – neither too big or too shallow or flat in the hand, and like all Hamers, the 3-piece mahogany neck is built using the ‘stress neck’ system." Great article on Hamer, by the way. The Phantom Custom review starts on page 13. I'd say it feels close to what my SG special feels like, but don't have much else to compare it to (besides my Hamer Artist Custom, and I think it's the same..?) Let me know what you had in mind. Thanks, case caseygree@aol.com --> QUOTE(Carl.B @ Feb 22 2010, 02:49 PM) ← What is the neck profile like? I might have a trade offer... Cool looking git!
BCR Greg Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Somebody buy it and send it to me for a P-90 conversion for the neck pickup! It makes these guitars sing.
Case Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Hi Carl, if you sent a PM, I did not receive it. Feel free to email me at caseygree@aol.com. I have a potential trade brewing locally tonight. Catch it before it's gone! thanks, case --> QUOTE(Carl.B @ Feb 22 2010, 03:20 PM) ← PM
