crunchee Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 No affiliation. Description says it's a lefty that is currently converted righty, but by looking at the photos I don't think so, I think it was right-handed to begin with. Interesting guitar anyway!http://cgi.ebay.com/1986-Hamer-USA-Vector-...=item2a0916a86
polara Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I saw that on the 'bay few months ago, too. Yeah, if it was a conversion, they did a heck of a job to fill in the old control cavity and make a new one. A reverse headstock Vector with a H - S pickup configuration is certainly unusual. It's pretty sexy in a way.

You'd have to take it to someone who knows what they're doing AND has access to 'stadium' logos for it to be otherwise.
specialk Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I'm not even a Vector type, and I've looked at this one half a dozen times today. The price sure seems okay.
sw686blue Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 The guy selling that guitar use to be a member here. He has crazy good finishing skills.
sw686blue Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I'm trying to negotiate a deal with him...Go for it, Scott!
Scottcrud Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Guess I shouldn't have been a cheap bastard and just hit BIN...

Coincidentally, that is my log in name for a few other sites. However, that's a reference to my other addiction/hobby- skydiving. Vector is the brand name of the harness/container I wear when jumping outta perfectly good airplanes.
landon w Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 i gotta say congratulations. It is the hottest Vector i have ever seen. I hope the finish looks as good when you get it as it did on the bay

The chrome-ish flames on the top rear horn are a bit pronounced and hopefully won't wear the skin of my arm while playing it-
