This guitar is in mint condition with no scratches dings or dents. It has been played very little. OHSC included. I'm interested in trading for a Korina Jr. I'm a new member, but have completed many guitar purchases and sales on ebay. I've had a hard time getting a good feel for the proper value of the more recent goldtops (the one's that I've seen on ebay tend to be mid 90's models and this one is an '02 model). If pressed, I think $1,200 shipped is in the ballpark, which is close to what I paid. But if I'm way off, I'd sure like the other, more seasoned, HFC member to set me straight.

You guys are most likely correct, the value on these has fallen to around $900 and the korina jr's are still at $1,200+, so the trade isn't likely to happen without some $ on my part (which, BTW, I'm willing to consider). Mine is 8 years newer, is in better condition (important to some, not to others), has an OHSC (the one on ebay has a gig bag), and my price includes shipping (vs. $40). A buyer will just need to decide if all of those things are worth $200. I think it is, but what I think is not important.Greg

What bothers me is guys who will jump in and offer what they think it's worth. Obviously, if you're asking too much it won't sell.Good luck with your sale!Nick

So when someone interested in a GT sees his guitar at $950 and compares it to the one on flea-bay at $711 figures "oh, this guy is obviously trying to screw me out of $240".Next time, how about sending a PM?

He is researching my trade offer at present. I've never owned a P90 type guitar and am really interested in the different tonal properties it offers.

I'm kind of stumped as to what is causing the overall market value for GT's to fall.That said, I feel the price I'm asking is my rock bottom. I will still entertain interesting trades (assuming Steve & I can't come to terms), but really am not interested in selling for any less than $950. Most guitars near or above the $1000 mark just don't sell here on the HFC. You'd have better luck on the ebay, where *almost* no one will send you a lowball offer. The guitar is easily worth what you want for it.

The trade and purchase offers that I've received have all been reasonable. The main reason I posted here was a hope that another member had a guitar (or many guitars) that was different than anything that I have, and was willing to trade. Trades are difficult on ebay. I may put it out on ebay if it doesn't sell, and I may not. I just haven't decided yet. One other thing. This guitar has it's OHSC. I am short one Hamer case. So I would be willing to reduce the price to $900 if the buyer would accept a non-original HSC. The GT fit's perfectly, and the case is in good working order. Greg
