BLuesBuster Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 If only I could find a tortoise pickguard for my '85 Phantom ...
Jack C Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 If you really want one, I'm sure Chandler could make you one. They may have even supplied the original guards for the Phantoms. They are pricey, however...
Moose Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Make your own guard.http://www.stewmac.com/cgi-bin/hazel.cgi?a...ml&CURRENCY=USDuse that material and your original as a template. Piece of cake.

lonote049 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 That's my favorite combination, bar none...pure class. My fretless Jazz Bass has that combination and my 2TEK CruiseBass also does (except that the lacquer has yellowed over the years).

BruceM Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Bruce aquires yet ANOTHER guitar . It's just not fair . Nah, I've had that one a long time. It really is a player, and sees lots of action. But not very often at the HFC jams. There's usually lots of other prettier guitars willing to hog the spotlight! I really like this particular T-51.
