GC Ron Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Up for sale, First off is a 1994 Hamer Studio in Emerald Green with Gold hardware. This guitar is super clean, the only issue is some Hameritis on the neck joint and the sides of the nut and there is tarnish on the stop tail. No flaking on the Hameritis just the clouding. I have only owned '94 Studios the neck is very comfortable, not thin or fat. Has the original case and truss rod wrench and I am the third owner. The lightness and darkness of the color will vary depending on the lighting. With the flash or bright light it can be pretty bright much more subduded with lower level lighting.Plenty of photos in this album: http://s220.photobucket.com/albums/dd265/GCRon/Hamer%20Studio/'>http://s220.photobuc...Hamer%20Studio/SOLDNext up is a super rare 1983 Ibanez AR1500 Artist Custom model. Maple top, mahogany back, three piece mahogany maple mahogany neck with an Ebony board with pearl and abalone inlays. Factory brass nut, Gibraltar II bridge and the Quick Change II tailpiece with the plate. Super 58 pickups. Has the original brown rectagular case with the gold Ibanez logo, warranty card and truss rod wrench. The center latch is missing the flip part both outer latches are fine. This is also super clean with just a few marks on the top. One to the right of the knobs near the edge and two tiny ones to the right of the pickups and there is some very minor hazing of the clear to the right of the pickups as well. Some plating wear on the left edge of the bridge.Everything is original and untouched.Plenty of photos in this album as well: http://s220.photobucket.com/albums/dd265/GCRon/Ibanez%20AR1500/'>http://s220.photobuc...banez%20AR1500/Link to the 1983 Ibanez catalog for this model: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/expansion.php?cat_id=89&now=9'>http://www.ibanez.co...cat_id=89&now=9Price is $1600 shipped CONUSThese guitars are my personal property.
Noodler63 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Both stunning guitars but the Ibanez is amazing... if I only had the cash :-(
Never2Late Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Have you had any issues getting the truss adjusted on the Studio to remove fret buzz?
GC Ron Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Have you had any issues getting the truss adjusted on the Studio to remove fret buzz?No problems what so ever. The neck adjusts both directions and it has stayed level the entire 14 plus years that I have owned it. My house is climate controlled so I have not had any issues with seasonal changes.

GC Ron Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 That Ibanez looks fantastic. I think I've seen 1/2 dozen of them since the 80s if that many. Before I got mine last year I had not seen one in years. Two have sold on eBay this year and neither were in the condition of mine, neither had paperwork and one had a non Ibanez case.Believe me if I wasn't in a money crunch it would not be up for sale.

LucSulla Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I had a terrible case of GAS this week (which this forum made even worse, haha) and had to pick this guitar up. Also bought a 95 Special this week. Unfortunately, I'll have to part company with a couple of other fiddles in my collection to help pay for my momentary lapse of reason, but I am happy to finally have some Hamers in my stable. I've played a few over the years, but never owned one. My main guitar is a 78 LP Custom, and I've needed some alternatives to it for years. I was looking hard at some of the LP double cuts, but I am not a huge fan of modern Gibsons. The chambering in them also turns me off in a major way. You guys sold me on Hamers, so I guess I am all in now.
