Eclipse wraptail bridge replacements?

stonge

Question

What replacements are available for the wraparound bridge on a Hamer Eclipse? I have a Pigtail wraparound with Tonepros studs on my Korina Jr, and that guitar is a cannon with that combo. I thought the owner of Pigtail passed away a couple years ago, and wasn't sure if they are still in business so I wondering who else might make a single-piece wraparound? I am not really a fan of the Wilkenson with the insert as I had one on an Artist years ago that wouldn't stay in place very well (after tightening it down, it would loosen up and wander out of position) so I really prefer a single-piece design. Also, I play .011s with a wound G, so the "modern" compensation for a plain G isn't really what I'm looking for.

thanks for any advice you can provide on replacements.

I believe the wife is still running the Pigtail business, I have purchased some things from them over the last couple of years or so...

I love the Faber Compensated bridge/TP unit.

Since you are using relatively heavy guage strings and a wound G, this is perfect:

Stewart McDonald is closing out their inventory, so they are CHEAP!

I had a Pigtail on one of my Eclipses, and it was great. The Eclipse I have now has a Hipshot Baby Grand, and am very pleased with it both functionally and aesthetically.
