I just learned about this site...does it work?

While I haven't used it yet, I know of several people who do. I hear it's a lot cheaper than Ebay.

cheaper is understatement...but does it work...how many bum deals...how fast does stuff sell....thats what I am wondering if it is worth trying.

I have whole semi load of gear i want to sell and I dont want to give $5000-10,000 to ebay doing it, I did that already, if there something else that is even semi effective I would give it a go to avoid giving any more money to EvilBay

Heard good things about Reverb. I think Chicago Music Exchange runs it. Fees are something like 3% right?

Haven't had a ton of luck selling there, but I'm not a huge seller (just a few things here and there). Seems to be populated by a lot of tire kickers sending lowball offers... but hell, with that statement I could be talking about damn near any site nowadays...

Not much experience selling on Reverb but plenty of buying!

Just sold an '08 Hamer Standard Custom on Reverb last week, sold very quickly and for what I was asking. I think it was anomaly though, have had a custom shop strat on there for quite some time and only had one offer that I just could not take. But the fees are 3.5%, which is way better than 10% (ePay) and I think quite fair for the service...

I'm sure no one will mind if you post it here first even if it's a long list.

Plus it'll be a lot less hassle/uncertainty dealing with the HFC crew, never had a bad deal here.

yeah but ebay doesnt stop at the 10%..there is 10% on shipping charged...cant add shipping supplies in to total anymore(it costs me $35 to pack a guitar and $42 to pack up tube amps...over $60 for big cabs) and if you sell alot like me I have pay listing fees for the last half of the month...I have done a 6 month average...21% is what I am paying out of every dollar collected...thats over $7500 in that time frame...over $1000 a month I pay those crooks. and then you have to deal with all the nasty ebay policies that keep you from your money for weeks after the sale..and that is just tip of the nightmare...if anyone wants the ugly truth about ebay..I can make you say>>> whoa!
