TapaTalk app. Do I need it?

On a few forums I get the offer to buy ( assume it's not free) Tapatalk. Anyone use it? I do ok so far without it. I should mention I haven't had a smart phone long. Rest of family had them

much longer then me. I like it so far except for fat fingering all the time

Is it related to Twitter? I may have selected it on a forum now I get annoying invites to share on Twitter etc. And I don't do Twitter

I browse forums on my (Android) phone using the Dolphin web browser. I like having them formatted the same way on my phone and on my computer. I tried to use a specialized forum browser once (don't remember if it was Tapatalk or not) and was not a fan

I used Tapatalk for a while. They kept changing how it worked and I had to keep learning how to do things over and over. I just use Safari to browse now on my iPad and all is well.

Newbie to smart phones here as well, actually cell phones in general. And I gotta say, I don't know how people do it, I've got a Samsung Galaxy 6, so pretty decent sized screen, and I still find it way too small to consider doing any web surfing on it beyond what is absolutely necessary. Much prefer my laptop for being on the interwebs. The phones cool for the camera and map features, other than that I'll wait till I can get to a real computer for surfing the web.

Firefox for Android is great (if you're on Android).

IIRC, TGP dropped Tapatalk connectivity due to ongoing security issues. I had it briefly and it did not work with the HFC. After reading the TGP issues, I'm glad it never did.

I had no issues using safari browing the HFC. But I got tired of staring at the little screen, and typing can be such a chore, so now I only really use full size computers to look at forums.
