Again thanks for validating me, I really appreciate it!
I am the proud owner of a new (to me) Hamer Standard that from my research (this site provided the best info) indicates that it was made in Korea. I have been waiting to get validated before I remove any covers and photograph the guitar, along with a string change, and setup which I will do myself, as I prefer 11's compared to the 9's that currently reside on the instrument.
In the meantime I have been enjoying just playing it. I traded 3 guitars for this one that I had a total of $325 invested in, doing the deal with a local pawn shop. I feel (especially after playing it since then) that I got a great deal. He can sell the axe's I traded for more than his asking price for the Standard ($439) and I got a serious guitar that I am very happy to own. A win for both of us.
Anyway pics and questions looming on the horizon shortly and again, thank you for allowing me to join the HFC!
