Who all makes Floyded/Sustainer'ed LP clones?

One of my clients is really jonesing for a Floyd and onboard Sustainer system'ed quality import LP clone. So much that he's bought a Floyd, bought Sustainer guts and approached me twice now about doing a router-happy and subsequently big-ass-$$$ conversion on a Chinese TOM/ST LP clone in his stable, which I'm reluctant to do for several reasons.

I have recommended instead of cutting that clone, big investment, no return on it and with no guaranteed back-end satisfaction, that we instead pursue a LP'esque guitar that has already had that grunt-work done - factory Floyd, possibly factory Sustainer, and we refine from there. I know there are some Burny LPs out there with this setup but they're all in Japan. I'd suspect the same for Edwards if we look around. LTD has at one point offered a Floyd/Sustainer version of their Eclipse but we can't find one on the used market. Same story for Fernandes and what I think they call the Monterey or a variant of it that's now discontinued. I guess we could look into a Floyded PRS SE Singlecut and cutting it up for Sustainer, just thought of that as I'm typing this.

Anyone else making a quality import factory Floyded and possibly Sustainer system'ed LP clone that needs to be on our radar for a project like this? We haven't talked budget but I take it he's ready to spend decent money - not Floyded Gibson money but decent money - on the right platform.

FWIW, I've sung the praise about factory Floyded USA Sunbursts and the value both at current purchase and possibly down the vintage value road, but he seems to have a singlecut bug. Well, we tried ...

Charvel had a recent LP style (Desolation) with a Floyd.  Agile also makes one (AL2000).

I can't speak to the quality of either.  Someone here (Brooks?) had posted a NGD for a Desolation, but I don't recall if it was the trem model or not.

Agile gets talked up in some forums, but the same can be said for a lot of import crap.  Their prices are so low I'd be leery.

A. this is about as most bang for the buck you can get~

B. installing a sustainer type, let alone a used one, In a guitar, esp in a les paul type, is no easy thing as well. Been there, done that, plenty of times.

C. Your not doing... nevermind. pm me or call.

Since the original post, I talked the guy out of it. In the meantime, these came through the shop a month or so ago for TLC/wellness checks.

The white one was okay. The gold top was a MONSTER, light years ahead of the "Custom" for resonance and tone and just a kickass LP.

The gold one told me no sense whatsoever in spending Gibson money on this platform. The white one, however, told me a blind buy from around the big sphere is a dice roll.

My new Manson DR-1 will have a sustainiac system but no floyd.  They'll build you one but $$$$$$$$$$.

I'm not a fan of import guitars in general but IME quality of the bridge usually very poor even if it's supposed to be a OFR. Maybe consider adding the sustainer to a used US Peavey Wolfgang. The Jackson PC-1 is a very nice guitar.  I would very much like to add a sustainiac to my Dean ML-F but I'm having trouble with letting someone take a router to a $4k fully custom US Dean.

ESP LTD Eclipse-  not an exact clone but same general idea.

The irony is that that original inquiring client ALREADY HAS a Jackson PC-1 - and a nice one at that - and he just wanted to add a Floyd/Sustainer something that looked like a LP. Go figure.

It's accepted here in the UK that Burny are the best alternative LP's. They come with a sustainer and Floyd ready fitted too. You say they're all in Japan. Well import one. Free shipping.

Damn that 85000 yen sure sounds like a lot for an import. But it gets better when converted to $772.54 US

It's cheap compared to the Italian Lira. 1,338,430.

USD sounds much better. :D
