Brooks Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I also have a Little Marshall JTM30 1x12 amp. These things get a lot of bad press due to there history of the transformers blowing up. It a great little amp. The lead channel is where it really shines. i also had a marshall JTM (mine was 60w), it was a great sounding amp, esp the clean, but alas, it blew up! ouch. had a JCM800 before that (also had several fenders/ampeg/peavey/sound city/GK/etc, way in the past).last few years i sold the JTM60, got a Reverend Hellhound, sold it, got a Fender Pro Jr...last year i stepped up $$ wise and got a Carr Rambler(ptp wired 28/14w booteek fender deluxe type of amp).yes, it sounds great, but not 4 times better than my Pro Jr! ha.recently replaced the Pro Jr w/ a Tech 21 TM10 for around the house, great bang for the buck.

Hamerica Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Right now my amps are1967 Fender Bassman with 2 x 12 Jensens for Bass guitar. Very, very clean sounding amp.1960's Gibson Rangers GA20T Models. These thing rock. I like the tremelo and distortion you get from these. Take a 1978 Sunburst, plug it in and it rocks!New amp choices are pending on feedback. Looking at the El Diablo and Mesa Lone Star Special.

Buzzy Fretts Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Hey F-9th,Do stop in and give us a review of the snake when it arrives. I'd be especially curious how it sits next to the 'hound.
Craig S Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 All I have left these days is my longtime 68' Twin Reverb and a Teefus modded Classic 30. I've the Twin for years even though there have been various Marshalls, Traces and Mesa's pass though, It's the only one that hasn't left
