I was on the bubble, and I guess it broke today.  I'm actually selling a couple of things.  Pics coming as soon as I get home

This guitar is bad ass, I just can't make peace with FR equipped guitars. 

The guitar is in great shape with only one major ding on the back of the upper horn.  The rest are all very small and hard to photograph.  As you all probably know, it has brand-spanking new pots and pickups, a SD Quarter Pounder in the neck and a Trembucker in the bridge.  Yes, someone did cut two more holes in it for two more pots.  I'm not sure what they were originally, but I wired it for two volumes and one tone. They aren't scratchy and do their thing.  The routes also seem to have been done by someone who wasn't a jackass, speaking of which, new jack too.

Everything I said about it when I got it a couple of months ago is true.  I just seem to about once a year have to re-learn that, like women who live in trailer parks, they are just a bad idea for me.

Only pic I have access to at the moment.  From before the pup swap (switched the nobs as well to just black).

She looks beautiful. The pics of cavity would really help - was it enlarged or still the same shape? I'm guessing 90-91?

The only reason I hesitate at all is I keep buying Californians and not bonding with them.  I love my Diablo, and it probably wouldn't get much playing time behind that.

But this guitar is a *steal* at this price.

Seeing this makes wonder why i am so anti-floyd rose or kahler.  I'm fine with the ordinary strat style bridge or a Bigsby.  But not an FR or KLR.  This is one guitar that makes me think I should 1) give FR another try 2) break my selfimposed embargo and economic sanctions against incoming gear.  I broke down a few weeks ago and bought skull knobs for volume & tone on my Eclipse.  

$6 relieved some GAS.  Not enough GAS to clear the room, just enough so i'm no longer doubling over with GAS pain.  $6 knobs????   Yep 18+/- months of embargo & sanctions has done quite a job on my gear vice.

Perhaps I am the GAS version of Alex in A Clockwork Orange.  Just singin' in the rain (kick), just singin'.......They made me listen to Freebird, while watching Rick Nielson walk thru his guitar collection.  I now get the dry heaves just seeing a Sam Ash sign. Oh the horror, the horror.  burp......Cheers!
