Stubborn Knob?

This works pretty good:

Just put it under the knob and pull up.

It's a foot of standard 16 gauge speaker wire. Lamp cord works, too. 14 gauge Monster cable sounds better, but my A/B clips were too low rez for a definitive conclusion.
