Never2Late Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Silver-sparkle is the BOMB - they only did that for one year, yes? 25th Anniversary while still in Chicago?
Roshark Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Hopefully someone in the know will chime in about how long Hamer made the silver Artists . I do know they did offer the silver on the Vanguard/Artist for at least 3 years .
T-51Fred Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 There's a silver sparkle on Reverb with a huge crack in the hollow section. Looks terribly abused. If I hadn't just dropped cash down on another guitar I'd offer him $450 for it . It's trashed, but he says it still plays great. I came this close.

I don't think that would be all that unreasonable... (maybe emailing phone # may help.) it's been sitting at $595 with no takers, and he'd have to pay fees out of that. It is a significant flaw, and $595 plus ship is a little too close to what you can get a non damaged one for...
sonic1974 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 How do you guys thing that would hold up structurally? Total no-go? (Just curiosity, can't actually buy any guitar toys for a while.

Glue will fix, I agree. But it will never be an investment guitar. Head stock is scuffed up and back has buckle rash. I'd hit it at 400-450. A great guitar no one would steal.
sonic1974 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 These days, I wouldn't think of too many guitars as investments. I could be off.
