Submariner85 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Why why why? Just kidding. That is a killer guitar, I had the opportunity to see up close. Someone needs this. I'd get it if I hadn't already dropped 1100 in the past month.
mattb Posted March 5, 2006 Author Posted March 5, 2006 Godaddy just charged me 1500 for going over on my servers bandwidth. I may not sell I just have to figure this shit out first. I aint happy that's for sure.
tomteriffic Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 well, dem bastiges! That's a helluvan overlimit bill. Hope you can work it out and not have to sell this, at least until I can buy it. It's a long time dreamboat guitar for me.
BLuesBuster Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 mattb, look for signs of fraud in the logs (foreign sites that link directly to your mp3's or other big downloads like games etc., or proxy/redirect indicators) or any other pattern that might indicate abnormal traffic levels. This has happened to me a few years ago and I was able to negotiate a much lower fee. good luck
mattb Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 Thanks man. Yeah I've been scouring all day and have found nothing. Most of the bandwidth is coming from a clients site. I have to buckle them down. KNow of any good software for tracking IIS logs and disabling sites that go over their useage?
HamerHokie Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Thanks man. Yeah I've been scouring all day and have found nothing. Most of the bandwidth is coming from a clients site. I have to buckle them down. KNow of any good software for tracking IIS logs and disabling sites that go over their useage? Is the problem bandwidth (which is instantaneous) or total data transferred (which is cumulative)?
Submariner85 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I think you should keep it man. Too nice to get rid of and it's BLUE. Hope your other problem gets solved.
mattb Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 No serious offers have come in. So this pretty lady is staying in the fold. I think if it came down to it, I wouldn't be able to part with her unless I knew I could get it back someday.Godaddy refunded half of my charges so I'm not in such a tight spot now. Thanks for swaying me in the right direction guys. Long live BLUE GUITARS!
serial Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 That's a cool result-glad it worked out that way and you could keep her.
Nuclear Wessel Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Glad you could keep it. Thanks for sharing the porn though!

I'm not a big IIS person, I've actually never looked into IIS tools (haven't used that server since 2000).
mattb Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 I am testing out Etheral now. Seems to be a great tool (free to boot). I'm a .NET/ASP/SQL Server developer so I use IIS.
