BadgerDave Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 The taxman cometh with steely eye and cold heart. To beat him back from my door, I need to sell a few guitars, so . . . You all know this one. 2005 NAMM Show "Vector Maximus". This is the guitar featured in the Hamer website Designer Gallery: Designer Gallery UberVector Link Original list was $6,599.00. I'll take $3,000.00 plus shipping. PayPal OK if you pay the 3% fee. Sorry, I can't take trades on this one unless you have something I can flip immediately for cash and you're willing to accept less than what I can sell it for. A near mint, no issue PRS or Gibson Historic, possibly. The guitar is in 9.9/10 condition - no nicks, dings, marks, changes or issues. OHSC and Certificate included. The Certificate designates the Vector as a NAMM model. I'll have additional photos available by tomorrow. The neck is the thicker vintage profile and the guitar is extremely lightweight and resonant. There are several HFCers who have had a chance to play this guitar. I welcome them to chime in with their impressions, good or bad. I personally think it is the best sounding Hamer I've ever played, but I'm not exactly impartial. Thanks for looking!
BCR Greg Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Second best Korina Vector ever IMO, certainly the coolest looking. I spent lets of time with this guitar, and it is bad ass.
cmatthes Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I played that one at NAMM - it is, for lack of a better word, "Breathtaking".Beauty and frilly stuff aside, this one sounded amazing through the GenzBenz 1/2 stack in the soundproof room...
sirDaniel Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!think of all you gave up to get that
BadgerDave Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 Actually, I ended up getting just about all of it back in the perpetual Badger/Kiz megatrade.Looks like a deal has been struck, just waitng on the confirmation.
belgian Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I think it's a relief this one goes to a familiar face.I hate to see those "forced" sales.
tomteriffic Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Well, on one hand, good. It's being sold and staying in the family, staving off the Revenooers and keeping Dave solvent. On the other hand, RATS! I was hoping to get my mitts all over that thing at the MWJ.
BadgerDave Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 The deal is done and the UberVector will be on its way to an esteemed member of our community tomorrow. You never know, it may just wander in at the MWJ. I'd like to meet the new owner in person.
