'64 Fender Deluxe "lowered price"

I have a 64 Fender Deluxe that has been somewhat gone through.  New filter caps and some minor work on the tremolo circuit that seems a bit noisy to me.  The tremolo channel seems a little weak but the normal channel is money and plenty loud. (edit: it is only weak with the tremolo level increased)  I don't know if that is normal.  I live in Alabama, so ideally someone in the southeast or east coast will be interested.  I have had a rough time shipping amps and this one is old.  I have no interest in allowing UPS or Fed-Ex a chance at it.   It does have bumps and bruises but is in good shape for an almost 60 year old amp.  I may also be interested in trades for guitars but I find myself collecting money these days rather than more things that I don't play near enough.  The price is not firm but it isn't 350 either.  I will get pics up soon.

I have the original Eminence speaker and had a Hellatone speaker installed.  You can have both but I doubt you will like the Eminence for anything other than a conversation piece.  It is almost all original with a few exceptions.  It does have a three prong plug.

$1800.00

Reverb, or non-reverb model?  Either way, I think I've seen and heard those amps somewhere before...

Lowered the price.  If it doesn't sell for that I'll probably keep it.

One of my regrets is selling the '76 DR I had. I hear you about not wanting to send it off alone in a box, for a local sale it will probably just take some time, just keep it while it's for sale, your price seems quite reasonable.

This is the amp from which the Angels sing! If I didn't have 2 64 Bandmasters, a 65 AA864 Bassman and a Brownface 6G6B Bassman this would be on it's way to my house. Worth every penny!

GLWTS!
