I’ve only ever had the original Trooper beer, which was much lighter than what you’re showing. How is that style?

Also, what is that in the background…?🤔

A few years back I met Bruce Dickinson when he was speaking at a friends's company in Dusseldorf. He basically talked about his business ideas mostly outside of Iron Maiden. It was packed, lots of people asking him to sign Maiden stuff (even though they were not supposed to, apparently) but after the talk we got to hang and we "sampled" a variety of local altbiers from Dusseldorf. It was maybe six or seven of us and Bruce and he was the most relaxed guy, really fun to talk to and they were just about to release a new beer. In the end I even took a picture, total fanboy that I am. Hell, what can I say, I even liked Tattoed Millionaire when it came out🤣

I didn't read the text and thought to myself that looks like Bruce Dickinson with you.

Hey, did he mention his Spitfire?

Pretty sure he did, there was also beer ;-). I believe he started with a photo of himself in front of roughly 2 billion people at a concert but the talk (that he will have given a few times) was mostly about his business ventures. Afterwards, when it was just a few people it was more personal. I rememember him saying he had no use for a second home, that he was just  living in London, that he would take the tube like everyone... came across as a great guy to be honest.

That's got to be a great benefit of being in Iron Maiden.  Millions around the world love them, but if they're on the street, few would recognize them.
