Yeah, I saw that.  I really want a Standard XT (a US Standard is out of my reach), but I need to find one that's appropriately priced.

It doesn't help when Reverb tags this guitar (and others of all sorts I've seen lately) with 'Rare Find-These don't show up often'.  With no other explanation.  <_<

Compared to Strats and Teles, I think the algorithm is right.

Somehow, I don't get the feeling that Reverb, and/or whoever is responsible for their 'algorithms' or 'bots' or whatever, is acting out of the goodness of their heart(s) to 'help' prospective buyers, it looks to me to be more like a way to encourage sales and web traffic to casual browsers to the website, in a slowing 'disposable income' economy...in other words, just another carny 'come on'. <_<  Just like GBase tried to use the phrase 'vintage excellent' as a item rating in their listings several years ago, at roughly about the time that Reverb really took off in popularity.  I dunno if GBase still does that or not, as I haven't really had the desire to visit their website since.

I think you are totally right.

Considering a 16 year old guitar the phrase could evenly apply as a sales driver. The Made in Indonesia guitars were somewhere around 2007 if I remember correctly. But, is that accumulating to a worth of 1.7k? Well, the price remains rather worse.
