Brooks Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Some of you old time HFCers remember my band Generic Hustle, we did a cd in 2007 and many of you bought it and supported us online. Trumpeter/composer Brad Haywood died suddenly this week, he was 51. Brad held a bachelor's in Music Ed and worked as a Jr High band director. Generic Hustle was a fun band and we all were pretty close right up to the end. Brad and I used to go ride motorcycles when we weren't jamming/recording/gigging. I have been in a bazillion bands, and it's rare when you can get 5 guys to get along so well and be very creative for 6 years straight. Rest easy, brother.
