Well is a quite simple setup Vol (split p) / Stacked-Vol (X2N) / Tone So bass is totally passive now. For havin the chance to go active someday with the pickups or the electronics I ordered an empty battery compartmant with routing as the the FBIV electronic cavity is real small with no extra space. Ebony board. No binding. But hoped it would look like a black binding with the ebony board and it seems it certainly does ...

The (Monty) Python Cali will arrive tomorrow from the painters. Plan to install all the hardware myself and then hand it off to my local tech wizard for some quality soldering and set up. (Yeah, I'm lazy and impatient) Pics to follow. Next up: diablo-izing the Fung Cali.

Great idea. Hadn't considered a matching truss cover. Hmm... I'm sure I could still send it out to him but frankly, I could live without it, as well. The black cover will blend in nicely with the paint anyway. Maybe I'll get one etched to say "Monty Python Cali"

And unlike my Godzilla Cali, where I was not able to keep the trademark logo, this go 'round I am able to have the logo. Too f-ing cool!

Completely a Classic. Dreamed up by you, built by Hamer and you still own it. That says something to me anyway. I see so many custom orders that get passed on after the original owner get tired of them and I find that sad. I still have the urge to do my own C/O but the prices have me singing the blues. NOT that they are so out of the park, its just that I can't afford that much.
