  1. Jaye: Cut off the plug on your wireless' cord & solder on a Switchcraft 280 plug. That's the standardized 1/4" mono plug that will work in every 1/4" jack. I came across the same problem you are having with 1/4" cables made by Samson, Hosa, & especially Groove Plugs.
  2. Or, it could be a blend control.....hmmmm? Seriously, I'd also like to buy raffle tix. Where & how?
  3. And how many of you heard those tunes while listening to that little am radio snuck under your pillow at night. Yeah, I'm old!

  5. I'm staying out of this one.... (ducks for cover).
  6. That's a beautiful bass for very little cash.
  7. Guilda Radner was great. That was such a funny skit. Yep that's Paul S.
  8. Getting back to the original post...... If you want to see something Really different, small, loud, lightweight, that has great tone, email me & I'll fill you in & tell you where to get it. Jim

  10. The Who - Live @ Leeds Humble Pie Foghat - Live Priest Allman Bros. - Live @ the Filmore East Cheap Trick Budokan Cream - from "The History of Eric Clapton" Vol. 1 - Crossroads Frampton Comes Alive Kiss Alive Johnny Winter
  11. Everyone in my band is in our late 40's & won't stop rockin'. So a big AMEN here.
  12. My standard bass is mahogany & has good botttom & mids. I have several basses in ash & 1 in alder. I don't care for the alder woods tone for bass. I like the midrange harmonics of ash. Korina might be interesting for bass. Sound might be a cross between ash & mahogany. Midrange harmonics + full resonant lows & light weight? Jim
  13. '81 Standard Bass #0531. Still have it
