  1. There's just too many beautiful examples on this board really. But if Martin Turner was an HFC member.......... This one:
  2. Makes me want to take that guitar and beat the heads in of everyone involved!
  3. My only experience shipping was when I ordered a Standard Bass from Hamer. I bought a Calzone flightcase, had it shipped to Hamer, & had them ship the bass to me in the flightcase. Came back perfect.
  4. 1 gig in December. Works out to about 1 every 2 months.
  5. Are the 1/4" plugs right angle or straight? Is the cable black zip cord or round?
  6. Have a great day Eric.
  7. Is the carved top on that called a German Carve?
  8. I wish they had time to do another Factory Open House tour.
  9. I know they didn't. I was just hoping they still offered that service. Maybe when things slow down in New Hartford lol!
  10. Now if they'd only still do re-fins for the common man's Hamer.
  11. Happy Birthday Mr. Stokes.
  12. 13. That's an amazing top. Lots of changes in the figuring. Let us know how she sounds.
  14. I know. I was having fun with it. I think I'll go with Victories. They should be big enough to see.
  15. There you go! How about a reverse polarity switch to change led colors. No wait, mood ring stones to show how I'm feeling about my playing.
  16. I know I need 'em. I'm half blind in the dark...HA!
  17. I would think that deleting the inlays would be N/C. They don't pre-make inlaid fretboards, so it would be one less build process for them. A cap of any type on the headstock would be an extra charge.
  18. Just rewrite your appraisals to this: IF it's in excellent condition, unmodified, and has its original case, the price guide I consulted says it would retail for ONE MEEELION DOLLARS, but keep in mind that you might not be able to sell it for full retail. What an instrument is 'worth' is what someone's willing to pay for and what someone's willing to sell if for, at the time of the sale."
  19. PRS is a factory. Hamer is a luthier shop. +1 on that.
  20. I wonder what the pay they'er inlay guys??? abalone outline around MOP looks like a tuff job.; Nah! It's peel and stick. The local grade school kids do the work on weekends. They get free box drinks and a meal too.
  21. Yep, one slot above McDonalds. They said $9 with a chance to increase to $10.50. Definately entry level. Can you imagine the artistry, the knowledge, the expertise that 9/hour commands?!?! Oh yeah, PRS will get reeeal good finish sanding for $9/hr. Do they staple the tops on too, or does that command a higher wage?? Well.....hope the guys in Hartford are making a good wage. They're the best, in my opinion. And they deserve it.
