He also needs to check of there is a single mounting post in the middle of the housing as on the Sperzel or if there are two on either side of the housing as on stock Fender tuners. This is what I'm talkin' 'bout:
Check if the G&L tuners have single-post mounting. When I put a set on my Strats I had to drill an additional hole as the original tuners had dual posts.
Hamerica's Redwood was probably my favorite of his stable of very impressive guitars. The Redwoods and the Earthen Maple run were cool and actually hinted at a rudimentary grasp of marketing.
With classicals the price is in the craftsmanship. Cheap tonewoods and cookie-cutter sweatshop builds don't cut it for discriminating classical players like they do for us mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging electric players.
