I was able to resist a Mettalic Pearl White USA Dean Z 1000 Series and a Gloss Natural Korean made Chicago Series Z Standard on Friday at the Dean factory tour I went on. I really thought I wanted one of the Chicago Series Zs but not really me. The Pearl White one was hard to resist though.
HAHAHA!!! That's funny as today is kinda like a birthday for me too. I am exactly 19,000 days old. 52 years times 365 plus 13 for leap years since my birth = 19,000.
Last Monday was Birthday #52 for me. Got such a Cool BDay thread, I had get you guys one started today!
Life IS Good!
Six days in on the new year and NGD will be here on Tuesday for a guitar paid in full 2 days before the new year began. I have only looked three times at used guitars no counting the F/S section.
I doubt we have seen the "last" of the Hamer brand. It is just going away for a while. Only my opinion but then again, will we ever see a Duesenburg or Hudson Hornet again?
Towards the end, the last three runs, there became less demand. There are 50 Goldtop Vs but the Soltero and the Deciever that followed only sold to demand numbers and the one from 2011 was a USA made guitar and IIRC less than 5 sold. 2003 a Silverburst Caddy, was 25 guitars, 2004-2008 were 50 units, 2009 Soltero MIGHT have been 50. The 2008-2011 guitars also came with Dean USA pickups. The GT V has a limited custom run of pickups for that guitar only.
