I had a Korina Artist HB for about 10 months. It wieghed 7.5 Lbs. It doesnt feel like a LP at all. I never got use to the way it hung and sold it to a friend that loved it. Sounded great plugged in and unplugged. Top notch build. You could feel the air move the hair on your arm from the soundhole. The stock Duncan 59s were great in it. My $0.02.
Enjoy your hunt.
it WOULD be nice if an EVilbay seller with close to 10K feedbacks would state it was a "stock" image and not the actul guitar the buyer is getting.
On a sidenote though, it is a cool feeling to find a Hamer one owns on their site.
Ok, I'll consider that variant then. Just PM'ed JohnnyThunders. I hope being able to conclude a deal with him.
MAN!!! You got it BAD!!!!
Few years back I missed a Trans Yellow Vector on Evilbay. I'm STILL looking for another one of them.
I liked BadgerDave's last line because Jol basically said that at the 2004 Open House..."Good luck, though, today's "no" often turns into tomorrow's "yes" with Hamer...." It was all in what the market was doing. Something like if used was consistentlly selling for what new price was with sustained demand it might be worth doing. Then again be patient a lil while that old Vector you want Zorrow is just around the corner or 5 years down the line in a new Custom order. Ran makes some cool stuff but it is still bootleg copies made in Russia huh?
Many of them dont care and a few outright lie cause it is after the Internet. Lots of folks think they cant be found out. Buyer beware, buyer be aware.
I tend to agree with BadgerDave on all those accounts. That buyer must have REALLY wanted one. If BCRGreg's deal doesn't pan out I have a Vector that MIGHT fit your bill. It too has had some work but is very solid and plays and sounds great. How essential is a neck pickup?

How about a late September Jam in the subject of the longest thread, Columbus, Ohio? Wasn't that the 175 response thread? MMM Donatos.
Ahh the land of the "Dreamy One" as BCRGreg likes to call him. I remember hitting this place in late '97. Uncle Ted Martin might have to wiegh in here.
