  1. 4 Watts and one knob is all you need.
  2. Who is the guitarist/bassist? Philip IV The Fair, judging by the golden locks and king-sized pedalboard?
  3. Apparently sold. One of us should have bought it. I should have bought it, despite having blown my Blue Guitar Budget. The shame. The shame.
  4. Answered my own question: Not compatible. The Intertubes haven't revealed the size of the metric bolt used to adjust the saddle locations (not the bolts used to affix saddle locations,) but I'm guessing it's an M3. Off to the hardware store. Did Hamer include this adjustment bolt with guitars sporting the VSVG? Update: Yep, it's an M3. Best I could find was an M3 cap bolt - need an Allen wrench for adjustment torque, but it works.
  5. Has anyone tried Wilkinson VS-100 saddles in the VSVG trem standard on Daytonas and Mirage 1s?
  6. Scholz offers both the R-1 8/16 (ribbed cone) and the P-1 8/16 (plain cone.) The P-1 "enhances fidelity, increases note definition, and delivers a more transparent, uncolored tone for a more high-fidelity response," while the R-1 "is the ultimate evolution of the classic British guitar speaker, designed to deliver rich harmonic content, powerful projection, and unmistakable character." In short the P-1 is designed for pure aural intent, while the R-1 is ribbed for your pleasure. Choose wisely. Also note that Scholz changed the basket terminals to be adjacent, in line with other speaker makes.
  7. That's just silly. And demo'd by feet wearing Inspector Gadget socks. So appropriate.
  8. Thanks Saul. I installed treble bleed circuits in my '93 Studio. They work well, but are less elegant than this simple rewiring.
  9. Says the.man who told me "Do it. Do it. Do it..." regarding the blue Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona. You need another Daytona.
  10. Buh. Missed that. Pay no attention to that comment behind the curtain! Update: My '93 shows a small gap. Perhaps Blue's larger gap is due to a manufacturing variance in its bridge plate, or in the plate mounting screw holes.
  11. Maybe this was the fastest path to an electric oud for some '60s hippydippy driven by his Eastern music besotment.
  12. Player funk. The seller wrote this guitar was a gigging guitarist's Number One. Mine looked worse when I got it. Or did I miss your \sarc, Dave?
  13. Youre not helping. Besides, I blew my Blue Guitar budget for '26.
  14. I know. If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it. But then again, it is blue....
  15. What do the inlays represent?

  17. I have too many amps I have too many amps...
  18. I use one. It's a Plexi in a box.
  19. Thanks for the intro to THE GREAT KAT. She's talented and fun.
  20. Oh, thank you so much, Cam. Now there's another guitar for me to lust after.
  21. You mispeled "intimidated" there.
  22. Dear Seller, Your Monaco's hardware is plated gold. Sincerely, The Internet
