  1. Word. in fact, I say we change the name of the Hamer Fan Club to The Used Hamer Trading and Gossip Club (or UHTGC). Rolls right off your tongue! Anyway, it beats the Hamer Fertilizer & Pillows Fan Club.
  2. If you didn't see that coming you haven't been paying attention at all. Exactly.
  3. Order cancelled. That is my Counter Black Friday Maneuverâ„¢!
  4. Yeah, just when I was out, he PULLED me back in! ...and I ordered a black one.
  5. Wow! That's almost too good to pass up, but I'm going to do my best to resist. Even had one in my shopping cart, just seconds from hitting the button to commit, then I remembered the stack of unused guitars that are mercilessly mocking me as I type this. I'm going to point to the Slim Taper neck as the reason that I pass on one, but it'll probably bother me for a couple of hours until I forget about it.
  6. +1! Joe-DEE!! (Also a long time Robin guy and Woody Harrelson impersonator)...
  7. Yeah. Looks like it worked. /\
  8. They're numbering Korean imports now?
  9. Doesn't bother me. I do wish they had routed the neck pickup in the right place, though, so that the first bobbin is centered on the octave. I'd rather see the neck tenon than to cover all of the Zulu goodness with a pick guard. But you already know what I think...
  10. You'd be right...seeing as I had to Google that.
  11. You do? Have you seen the knobs he uses?
  12. No pickguard. Pickups screwed directly to the body. Done.
  13. This is what I would do (seeing as nobody asked).
  14. Wish there was a way to fill the neck pickup rout and leave the pickguard off all together. It looks great without it.
  15. Ah.. did not know that. Thanks, Quinn.
  16. Ok...As a non-Floyd user, I have to ask. If you needed to replace a Floyd, wouldn't you be better served finding an Original Floyd Rose instead of a licensed model?
  17. Makes sense... It was definitely a "gig" in the sense that Pul was talking to the audience, "Our next number..." That kind of interaction which you don't ever see on a talk show music guest segment. Pretty cool that they posted the whole thing. Paul's voice sounds not very good, imo.
  18. I don't get it. The clip runs 48:28... I see it's from the Ed Sullivan Theater, but how was this broadcast on Letterman?
  19. Works for me...
