  1. You'd be right...seeing as I had to Google that.
  2. You do? Have you seen the knobs he uses?
  3. No pickguard. Pickups screwed directly to the body. Done.
  4. This is what I would do (seeing as nobody asked).
  5. Wish there was a way to fill the neck pickup rout and leave the pickguard off all together. It looks great without it.
  6. Ah.. did not know that. Thanks, Quinn.
  7. Ok...As a non-Floyd user, I have to ask. If you needed to replace a Floyd, wouldn't you be better served finding an Original Floyd Rose instead of a licensed model?
  8. Makes sense... It was definitely a "gig" in the sense that Pul was talking to the audience, "Our next number..." That kind of interaction which you don't ever see on a talk show music guest segment. Pretty cool that they posted the whole thing. Paul's voice sounds not very good, imo.
  9. I don't get it. The clip runs 48:28... I see it's from the Ed Sullivan Theater, but how was this broadcast on Letterman?
  10. Works for me...
  11. Thank you. The Muse always know the right thing to say. But then he IS a professional. You. Complete. Me.
  12. Some say I should be wearing a helmet all of the time, but for other reasons.
  13. Yeah, well I guess I'll wear a helmet cam on my next trip to New Orleans. Otherwise there's just no way.
  14. I didn't watch the clip, but you're right - that's really irritating. It's for that reason that I don't take a camera with me when I'm on a vacation or at a family function. It gets in the way of the experience and even the memory of the event. I look at photos that I've taken in the past and, while I remember taking the pictures like it was yesterday, I don't remember experiencing the event itself.
  15. IZABELLA!! Yeah yeah... If there was ever a piece of hard and fast evidence that Jimi fucking ruled, that is it. Every effect he had all swooshing away while he's rrrrrripping! Almost as captivating is the conga player behind him who is clearly listening to another song in his head (and I don't think he's mic'd up either - lol).
  16. ...and you won't be meeting him this year in Chicago, unfortunately. The Mighty Mighty REE-shard will have to skip Chicago because of a project at work. He dangles the carrot out in front of our collective faces and then pulls it away!
  17. bravo and amenUnless, of course, there's a Cat5 hurricane barreling toward shore.Yes... I WAS happy to be leaving New Orleans on August 27th, 2005. But this is the exception that proves the rule - lol.
  18. I'll take that as the party just went to the next level. ;)sdThere are only a few genuinly...genuine people in this world who make every experience that much more enjoyable, that much more memorable. REE-shard is one of them. I was already psyched to be able to hang with The Muse, one of my dearest, closest friends, for the weekend. Now a second will show up. Honestly, I could care less about the guitars and the music. For me it's all about seeing (now two) guys who I haven't seen in way too long. I saw Muse last year at this event - already far too long. The last time I saw Jeff was Jazzfest '09 in New Orleans. FAR too long, and way too hung over as I waited at the gate for my flight to head home. Truly one of the saddest places to be: leaving NOLA for anywhere else, let me tell you... I guess that's my long-winded way of saying, "Yes, you're right."
