Link. I've never seen that before, but I can tell you that I've seen the posts on wrap tail bridges start to lean toward the nut on some old Gibson Juniors. I don't see that happening with this guitar's layout. As for it being stock: It sure looks like the string ferrules were drilled before the finish was applied and far too aligned to have been done by hand (and by "by hand" I mean with a drill press, one at a time). That looks like it was done by a CNC. So, I'd guess that it was stock. Now the question as to WHY it was done is anybody's guess.
