The Wyldbil Pirate Special #5 has found its way to Amarillo, Texas. The coolness of this little jewel truly goes off the charts. Pictures soon will follow, but right now I'm going to play this little black jewel. It will get a garage workout Thursday night and will trek to the Cadillac Ranch for pics and mojo. Many thanks to Gene for letting me take part in this tour and to all those who have welcomed it then passed it on.
There's a lot to love about Dusty in Memphis....Wexler and Dowd production....The A-Team as backing musicians....Reggie Young on guitar...I think it's a gem of an album.
I know a fella in a Tex-Mex band who exclusively plays guitars with locking trems. Never uses the trem; says he likes the way the guitar stays in tune.
lol...not very much....probably the new 1942 Gibson J-45 reissue I bought a Dave's Guitars about 14 years ago, and I doubt it's even worth $1,500. Three were less than a grand, and the rest were less than $500.
