Completely a Classic. Dreamed up by you, built by Hamer and you still own it. That says something to me anyway. I see so many custom orders that get passed on after the original owner get tired of them and I find that sad. I still have the urge to do my own C/O but the prices have me singing the blues. NOT that they are so out of the park, its just that I can't afford that much.

I lucked out and purchased a very old set of SD 59's that were from the original owner. They have the best middle position sound i've ever heard. It's sad that I have them in a guitar that I almost never play.

I've got to get that project done, pickups are in all the parts are there but I just stopped. I'll let you know first if I move.

Sorry but it may be time to do some major unloading. 5 is the Majic # and I should have stuck to that. A player of my calibier does not need $8000. worth of guitars in the house. Not to mention the my revolving door of SD Pickups that keep stacking up and an amplifier that has more sounds than the two that I use 98% of the time. It's been a long time coming for me, having a kid changed everything for me. The only reason more guitars come in know is because I still have a passion for them but they are no longer my priority.

Brent, I just put in a Pearly Gates in the Bridge and a Alnico II Pro in the neck of my Sunburst and its a great combo. They work really well in the Milddle Position.
