I was never a big fan of him. Way too soft for my youthful tastes. Until I saw him at the first Farm Aid concert in Champign, IL in 1985. Amidst all of the country and rock stars that appeared that day he really stood out. He had the whole crowd in the palm of his hand. He was great! Scott M.
