1992 "TY" Not quite "vintage" but LOVE them P90s in a big old Mahogany slab body, ok two piece.. That looks just like my first one. Sold it about two years ago... I still like that color!

That was quick. Both VERY nice and in beautiful condition!!!

My first hamer was a P90 special that I got new from a store in Duesseldorf, Germany. It was overpriced but I loved the look of it and it was a good guitar. I realised though that I needed something with humbuckers so I traded it for an archtop standard that I sold about a year ago. Since then I decided I needed one of the early sustainblock specials. The first was a 1980 translucent red that I sold as the neck was just too thin. I had a few more and my favorite right now is the B&W special I bought from Serial (and the other one I got from Peter and sold to Barry, when I thought I could afford a sunburst). There are a couple more vintage specials that I'd love to see some pictures of like the white matching headstock special, that Bernard has and I'm sure there are a few more crazy ones... If anyone wants to part with a nice old unmolested special, give me a shout! Seems like old standards and sunbursts are just out of the picture for me with prices so high...

How is that, compared to a Jazzmaster? (I know it's almost a jazzmaster but different brifge and verything Mr. Mascis loves, including purple )

I think I might have done that too when I became a member. It was all about a vintage special back then...

I love pre-dinged PRS's. Immediately makes it easy to treat it like a tool instead of some work of art. My #1 PRS got a couple of new dings on the headstock when I moved into this house... courtesy of a low ceiling and a ceiling fan. Sounds like you had a good time!!!
