  1. Your mailbox is full... What is the neck profile like on the vector? and the weight? Thanks! HOTG
  2. That's a shame. She was originally billed as the female Jonny Lang, I think they share a management company. He also had some substance issues and is now clean and attempting a new career as a "christian" artist.
  3. Great version of "The Weight" on that record! Yes, I was exellent. I really, truely love the Record. Great stuff and I'll keep my eye out for more. I also picked up Chris Duarte Group's TEXAS SUGER.. another great record. These were not at least for me sure things. So I took a chance with both of them and I would recomend them to anyone. Duate is a badass! Great cover of "Just kissed my baby" on Texas Sugar Strat Magic! BTW Curfman has a new record out, haven't heard it though... That's an awsome song! That disc was a great find. The local Co-Op Records has 2 of his latest discs in the "NEW" sections. As for Shannon, I'll definetly get another of her records to see what's she's up to now. That disc is from 2000 and I opened it up tonigh to look at the booklet and It's autographed. Someone must have bought it at a show. If you like that song check out The Meters...

  6. The gimmick factor of relics notwithstanding, the ones that I have played with few exceptions have been amazing guitars sonically as well as visually. Some I have seen have unusual wear or are overdone, but the ones I own personally I think look and sound pretty authentic.
  7. Ha! Maybe there's a "Mojo" stencil!
  8. What is the neck like on this one? I bought one off of ebay that looked like someone had shaved the neck down to nothing so I returned it. I love the looks of these and the versatility.
  9. The Osmonds think these people are too white! I've never heard a ska/pop song about Jesus before! Funny as hell!
  10. Synth controls. It's beat up. Skinny neck (yuck). Needs a complete setup (I didnt bother due to the skinny neck.) Paults tested the synth electronics and said it worked. $500 shipped in the continental U.S. in some kind of gig bag. More photos here: http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f61/deid...20Phantom%20A7/ You lost me at "skinny neck" are these all that way? I thought some had fat necks?
  11. This is cool...What are all of the controls for? Synth? Selling this? Big or skinny neck?Too many questions?
  12. If that guitar was a car it would be a fully loaded coupe de ville with spinners, a whale tail, whitewalls and video screens in the back. A pimp-mobile for sure!
  13. Three of a perfect pair... Or more...
  14. "What's your favorite colour?" and "Love rears it's ugly head" are two of my all time favorite songs!!
  15. [Did you ever go to the old Maxwell St market in Chicago. There is a scene from it in The Blues Bros. movie. The scene with John Lee Hooker. Anyway, for the most part Maxwell St was a Saturday morning bazarr stocked with stolen or hijacked goods of all types, weird & oddball vendors selling all kinds of weird and oddbal stuff, and carts selling the best Polish sausage you ever had. Visualize Marrakech w/o falafel, on the South Side of Chicago. Gypsies, tramps & thieves....and that, IMHO is what eBay has become. The cyber Maxwell St. Buyer AND seller be very, very cautious. YMMV I LOVE that scene, the little subtleties in it. Like the guy all dressed up in his polyester shirt and slacks walking away with his newly purchased black & white portable TV!! And of couse Hooker's white patent leather shoes with the "cuban" heel~!
  16. I sold my McCarty Rosewood and bought 3 Hamers! Best deal ever!
  17. MINE!!! ALL MINE!!! (sinister laughing) Thanks Greg!! Scott
  18. Nice guitars! What is the neck carve on the Studio?? Thanks! Scott
  19. Don't take this in a bad way, but what exactly does that video prove? The tones that he's getting out of that guitar and amp are nice but, I'm sure there are a ton of amps that can sound just as good, if not better, at a fraction of the cost. I think even a hack like myself would sound pretty good playing through $400,000 worth of gear!!
