I saw an add for the "Select" series on the back of some guitar mag and to me it says "a better guitar sor the SELECT few who can affort it" it was like a posh gentleman in a high-rise style appt with very regal decor and a very high maintenance(high price) lady on the bed. The guy wasn't even playing the guitar, he was just looking at it like "yeah, I can afford it" Totally lost me as an add, and totally put me off as a consumer.

I just sold off my Nova System, to offset the cost of a POD 500HD, as much as I miss that compression and chorus, I love the ease of setup with the POD. I have banks for direct and banks with an amp. You got my number, I gotta go, baby's cryin' if I can I'll get back to you here. call anytime!

:wub: yeah but having a floyd and NOT being able to use it fully is like having a smoking hot girlfriend who will only give you handjobs :wub: that being said, I usually block my floyds for "dive" only

I played my first show with the modeler alone a little over a month ago, it was a variety show type of thing where I was backing up different people, and I needed to cover a lot of ground and get on and off stage in a hurry. I had just picked up a POD HD500, the week before and set it up with my pedal setup to use with the amp, and then started dialing it in to a/b it with my amp(genz benz bp30) and I could get super tones with the POD. I ended up just going direct and was able to leave my pedalboard and amp at home. It sounded great! I could have had "more of me in the monitors" for the rockin' numbers, but I was able to really dial in some great tones. The clean tones(with minimal effects) are the hardest to dial in, but I am totally diggin the ease of setup and tones commin' out!

There's a quilted grey/blue P-90 Artist Custom out there that I have had a hard-on for forever, I'll try to find a pic.

How's the wear n' tear with the stainless strings on nickel frets?

I played a Jim Root Tele 'bout a month ago, it was BAD ASSED! Great feel slick build, and a rock tone with GIANT SWINGIN" BALLS! Fantastic Trio Brother!

I have sumpin' too i guess. I have to file down any caliuses or they split, tried lotions, nuthin helps but the nail files I keep in my bag

That's a newer custom, are you sure it's not bone? It must be from the last 5yrs, ya just never know. if it's a lubritrack nut you may want to keep it as well. I guess I'd just ask why you would want to change it? is it binding? is it off color?

Is there one out there that has a regular AC outlet? I have two pedals and my TCE Nova that I need to get power to.

I had a 112 concert and it ripped! it was pretty cold until you got it LOUD and then it warmed up fiercely. had a pre master and a couple of pull knobs. I wish I could have kept it. It was HEAVY, oh my felt like it was made of lead. I got it with a bad speaker, and dropped a Swamp Thang in there and it just roared, clean side had a great sound when pushed. I would love to run across a princeton or a DR from that series
