Sounds like fun. What is this "semi yearly Seattle/Northwest Jam"? I am only a couple hours south of there. In my "jam class" they are leaning on me (heavily) to do some singing as well as playing. Now THAT is a scary thought!

Picked up one of those a while ago. But sans Bigsby. Still trying to figure out what to do with it longer term. Debating whether it merits a pickup upgrade. Great value IMO. -

Screw "No Guitar Challenge" What Did You Get In 2013?
django49 replied to L2A3's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
BCRGreg, henceforth known as "Da Pusher Man," introduced me to Huber guitars in 2013. And THAT'S when the trouble started........And no small part of the reason for the sale of several other items....... -
If you're going to consider something that ugly, you may as well go for a Jon Kammerer a save a few grand. Point well taken! Having recently plugged into a more conventional Fibenare, I decided it was one of the best take offs on a "Les Paul" type I have ever played. And some makers just ARE even better than the sum of their parts......Just naturally gets my curiosity running as to what their other "unique" offerings might hold in store. I am definitely NOT there yet.

"I didn't get nuttin', I had to pay $50 and pick up the garbage." Guess you gotta be a Portland native to pick up the tradition...... Well, actually, I DID trip over THIS.......A great little grab and go for the Group W bench.

PSA Talladega Pro
django49 replied to ghamerinfrance's topic in For Sale - Wanted to Buy - PIF - eBay & Other PSAs
Not exactly a bad price, given their scarcity, all the more so overseas. Neck did not bother me (and my small-ish hands) at all. And I was not so much a fan of 25.5" scales until I played Talladegas (both versions). YMMV. -

P 90 Artist? You mean something along these lines? The bridge pup is a DiMarzio "high output hum cancelling P90". -

One EM of each variety. ZERO plans to let loose of them. Need to sell some other things before I cut deeper. PM sent. -

I will almost certainly decide to cut loose some additional Hamers in the future, but not right away. Some of them are really special, which is (partially) why it will take me longer to get to those decisions. For the time being, I need to focus on what has already been posted in one place or another.......SuperPro, Artist Custom (P90), Newport 12, as well as 2-3 Gadows, a couple G&Ls, a Carvin, Parker, Heritage archtop and at least two amp, plus the THD Flexi-50....MAYBE a korina Junior. Oh yeah, the pair of Nik Hubers. MAYBE a Monaco. MAYBE a PRS Hollowbody with piezo. An (almost) embarrassing pile of goodies..... A couple of them are in "discussions" and two "enthusiasts" are popping by Thursday evening. So, six out the door already in this go-round. Still a good ways to go before digging deeper. It sometimes takes me a while to get kickstarted, then I get carried away and hit this head on. And I do have a short list of "dibs" from some folks that have expressed interest in a specific item. Took me a while to collect all these things......Will take a while to unwind (part way) them too. But response thus far has been really good! -

Update......The Turner is sold. The Talladega Pro (sunburst) has been restored to the stock pickups. The hold is removed, so it is again available as of today. For clarity, I am keeping the one with the quilt top and Tigers Eye finish. -

I could not agree more - stunning. And great pictures too! What camera are you using? Good luck with your sale. Thanks......I am NOT a photographer. I have a Canon T3i DSLR with an 18-135 lens. Those are all handheld without special lighting.....I guess the "autostabilizer" makes me look like I know what I am doing.
