  1. I have a black one, it was the best $125 I have spent in along while. The ducan designed pickups are good not great, the tuners work fine. But I love the neck even if it is painted. It's a no frills guitar but that is the beauty of it. So my recomondation is if you can get one for under $250 grab it over that I would say spend the xtra $$ on USA Eclipse. Carl B
  2. I see the seller has a few Monaco XT's too. I will wait until the HFC sellers get there's in before I jump in. I just wish the Monaco XT had a P90's line. Carl
  3. Dave let us know when there in and a spec report.
  4. What Bruce didn't want to stick around and enjoy our beautiful minnsota winter A mild 9 above today with lot's of sun! A balmy 12 for high tomorrow it's almost short n t-shirt weather next week high of 27! God why do I still live in this state! Have a great time ladies & gents, expect pictures to prove the stories are true!
  5. Let me know what your wearing as I will be at the Jeff Beck show too. Would love to see Plant but we have dished out a few $$$ on concerts this year (Rush, Tool, Todd Rundgren,Linicnon Park, Beck).
  6. Bruce did you see the local new's on New Ulm trying to be Heart healthy and going for zero heart attacks by 2016. It must be working! I wonder where you would keep it
  7. I agree the price is ludicrous but I have a feeling someone will end up buying it. It's one Hamer that I really lust for.
  8. Droooooooooooooooooooling I so wish I had the funds to jump into this! T-62
  9. I have played vox 8" and it did sound good clean and it did break up nicely too. As for the bugera i have only heard that on video and read few reviews. I will admit for I liked the fender super champ XD the plus being usable effects not best effects but good enough for this old fart. So being the cheap old norwegien I am keeping my eyes open for good used one. Glad you found something you like and that's what is all about. Playing should be something that makes you feel good!
  10. Why run? Behringer makes some pretty decent stuff. I have used a few of there power amp, equalizers, and there effects with no problem. Just because they figured out a way to make stuff cheaper dosen't mean it's all crap. The fender frontman my son got with his first guitar crapped out long before the Behringer same thing with a Crate amp. He now has the Behringer with him at collage. So if you want to pay $50 - $75 more for your amp that's probally made with parts from the same country because it say's Vox, Marshall etc... I am just saying if you like the sound of the Bugera for $75 - $100 less than the Vox for a bedroom amp I say go for it. Hell it's not rocket science it's stuff you learn in a High School electronics class. you get what you pay for. they steal their designs and have the stuff built in sweatshops in china and viet nam to sell the stuff cheap. I would rather spend a little more money and buy an amp from a reputable company and have something that would last. you can use all the behringer gear you want. many pro rides say no behginger right on them and no studio or band worth anything would use the equipment. just my inflated 2 cents YMMV I don't know the history of Behringer and really don't care, but I will never be in a pro studio recording or on tour. I have to believe they are a fairly reputable company to be sold in just about every music store out there. I am just trying to get by and save few $$. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Carl

  12. I have played that one! The middle pickup is dead and the bridge pickup kept cutting out. The finish is going on it too. It has little cracks all through the finish like the guitar sat next to the furnace for along time. The neck was nice but I didn't really check out the frets closely. Hope that helps. I have checked this one out. It has some honest wear and a bit of fret grooving, but it brings the good stuff too. Z They must have rewired it because the pickups were dead when I played it. I even asked if they were going to fix it and they said naaaaaaaaa it will sell. It's been there going on 3 months now.
  13. I don't know if this is something you might be interested in? I think it ran it's course on Ebay and the owner must have traded it in. You can't tell by the crap photo on there but if it is the same one that was on Ebay it was a US Blitz Cheap Blitz
  14. White metal flake, with chrome trons...... Stike could do that What about the headstock are you going to refi that too?
  15. I would go for a flat top special any color but black (already have 3 blackies). Sustain block with HFC on the 12th fret if cost is a factor maybe a HFC marker on the back of the headstock. I would like to see it in a reasonable price range. Sorry $3G's is out of my price range.
  16. Geoff should we start a seperate post for those who are in to donate? Then you could just reply to anyone in that thread with your paypal info instead of posting it to the world. just an idea!
